Graduated from Southern Oregon College  receiving the first Physics degree ever awarded from
the College. There were 6 such degrees awarded that year but his was the first by virtue of his
last name beginning with A.

Skip and the last POW, Captain Jim White
The C-141 crew at Gia Lam Field, Hanoi
Skip Flew into Hanoi to help repatriate the American POW's in Operation Homecoming.
He flew the last released POW home April 4, 1973  signaling the end of American
involvement in Viet Nam.
After the end of the Viet Nam war Skip completed his Air Force career North of the Artic Circle
in Kotzebue Alaska. It was here that he took up the game of pool, Spending the long
dark winter practicing in the Rec Room.

Skip Builds an igloo
After the Air Force he became a real estate agent working for the office of Jim Grantland.
Skip then went to work  as a computer engineer for a company called Cray Research. This
company made the worlds most powerful super computers. The derivative company Cray
still makes the most powerful computers but new technology has narrowed the market to
just a handful of customers who need this high powered computing.

From speed in the air to speed on the ground
After retirement he was able to devote more time to his pool game. He developed
9ball2000  and after several different versions he settled on the current system as being
the best. He became involved with several different leagues and participates regularly in
local tournaments.
